excited to host another workshop at the historic Brucemore Mansion. \nIn this workshop\, participants will build their own Ugly Holiday Sweater using various warm glass techniques. Add colors to your pre-cut sweater with various colors of glass to create your own unique Ugly Holiday Sweater. \nThis workshop is hosted in the Brucemore Carriage House. All instructions and materials are provided during the workshop. Following the workshop\, the instructor will take the projects to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for firing in their kiln. Brucemore will notify participants when their projects are ready for pick up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio\, approximately three weeks following the class date. Gather your friends and/or partner and join us for a fun Friday Night Out—for 21 and over only.  Participants may BYOB.  \nThis is a 2-hour wheel throwing workshop. In this class\, we will assist you in learning how to center the clay on the wheel and how to create cups and bowls\, with in-depth demonstrations. This class is more about the process of working with the wheel than a specific project. Each participant will complete at least 1-2 cups or bowls. This class is more about the process of working with clay on the wheel than a specific project. Great for kids and adults who are interested in developing a set of skills for working with clay. Each participant will complete at least 1-2 cups or bowls. Projects will then be dried on our shelves and fired in the kiln\, then coated with a white glaze and fired again. Your finished projects will be available for pickup 3 weeks later at ICCGS. \nThis class is all about the experience and learning how to work with the pottery wheel. This is a great way for kids and parents alike who are interested in working with clay to experience it firsthand. Minimum age is 9 years old. Add colors to your pre-cut trees with various colors of glass to create your own double holiday tree decor to use for many years to come. \nThis workshop is hosted in the Brucemore Carriage House. All instructions and materials are provided during the workshop. Following the workshop\, the instructor will take the projects to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for firing in their kiln. Brucemore will notify participants when their projects are ready for pick up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio\, approximately three weeks following the class date. Gather your friends and/or partner and join us for a fun Friday Night Out—for 21 and over only.  Participants may BYOB.  \nThe holiday season is upon us! Create a beautiful tree from glass to decorate your home for the holidays or gift to someone special. All instruction and materials are provided during the class to make one 3”x6” glass tree using warm glass techniques. This class is more about the process of working with clay on the wheel than a specific project. Great for kids and adults who are interested in developing a set of skills for working with clay. Each participant will complete at least 1-2 cups or bowls. Projects will then be dried on our shelves and fired in the kiln\, then coated with a white glaze and fired again. Your finished projects will be available for pickup 3 weeks later at ICCGS. This class is all about the experience and learning how to work with the pottery wheel. This is a great way for kids and parents alike who are interested in working with clay to experience it firsthand. Minimum age is 9 years old. Gather your friends and/or partner and join us for a fun Friday Night Out—for 21 and over only.  Participants may BYOB.  \nThis is a 2-hour wheel throwing workshop. In this class\, we will assist you in learning how to center the clay on the wheel and how to create cups and bowls\, with in-depth demonstrations. This class is more about the process of working with the wheel than a specific project. Each participant will complete at least 1-2 cups or bowls.
