All projects will be kiln fired and available for pickup on September 24th. \nWe are holding multiple workshops through the morning and day on September 3rd\, in our dedicated STEAM Classroom. Each workshop will be held on the hour (45 minutes long)\, with 15 minutes between workshops to clean. Each workshop is limited to 12 people. \nDate: Saturday\, September 3rd \nTime: Workshops are 45 minutes each between 9am-1pm. These camps are a great option for siblings who want to take a class together!\nGlass Selfie Magnet and Emoji Suncatcher: Create two projects in this workshop–create your likeness in a Glass Selfie magnet and then re-create your favorite emoji in a suncatcher.  Your finished projects will measure approximately 3”x3” and 2”x2”.  We will teach you some warm glass techniques including: how to safely cut glass and how to layer glass to create your desired design. All participants must wear closed toed shoes and clothing that covers your legs for glass safety\, protective eyewear is provided.  All projects will be fired in our kilns and available for pickup 3 weeks later. In glass classes full length pants and closed toed shoes are mandatory.  Masks are required at ICCGS. \nCancellation policy: ICCGS reserves the right to cancel sessions due to the minimum enrollment not being met.  In that event\, participants will be notified and credit for a future class/workshop. Credit will be given in the form of a certificate.  Participants may cancel their session for future class credits 72 hours/ 3 days before the class/workshop begins.  No refunds are available.  You may email us at info@iowaCeramicsCenter.org. \nWeather:  In case of inclement weather\, please refer to our Facebook page: Iowa Ceramics Center (www.facebook.com/iowaceramicscenter) for all cancellations.  Your class will be rescheduled at your instructor’s discretion. \nAll classes and workshops are held at: Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio\, located in the NewBo district in the Cherry Building at 329 10th Avenue Southeast in Cedar Rapids\, Iowa.  The center is located on the first floor in Suite 117.  Please enter the building through the 11th Avenue side of the building. \nEnd of Session Policies: Completed and fired work will only be held for 30 days after the end of session. Non-returning students must clear off their shelves by the last class session.
