You will be able to carve shallow relief designs into the clay or add thin clay designs to the surface. You will make a plaster silica mold of your clay piece. You will then personalize the project using a palette of glass frits and fill the shell of the mold with a frit paste. Your piece will then be dried and back-filled prior to firing. The final piece will be a 4”x4” hollow form that\, despite its delicate and sugary appearance\, is a strong and long lasting work of art.All materials\, tools and firing cost will be provided. Finished piece will be ready for pick up on November 22.Prerequisites: You must have taken the basic Pâte de Verre class before taking this one.
