SUMMARY:Mobile at LionBridge Brewing: Face Steins
DESCRIPTION:The Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio (ICCGS) will be at Lion Bridge Brewing Company! \nHAND MADE STEINS: Participants will start with a blank pre-thrown stein (made by ICCGS’s Resident Artists) to personalize and decorate using clay and glazes. You will add a decorative or functional handle and then decorate the outside of the stein to resemble a face including! Participants will then paint their steins using special ceramic glazes. Projects will then be taken back to ICCGS to be coated with a special clear glaze and fired in their kilns. Your finished stein will be available for pickup 3 weeks later at ICCGS. 1 LB beer is included with the purchase of a ticket.
