Join us for our 2023 Summer Fundraiser
alCJoin us on Sunday, June 11th for a Summer evening of art, food, and entertainment in our kiln yard, located outside the Ceramics Studio in the heart of NewBo District. Help us light our creative fires and celebrate over 10 years of bringing creativity to Cedar Rapids!
We will have live music, a silent auction, BBQ from Willie Ray’s, sides from the Caribbean Kitchen. We also have a vegetarian option available (this option must be selected at registration) from Grandma’s Root Cellar. We will have beer from Lion Bridge Brewing Company and Wine. Enjoy Raku demonstrations with a take-home luminary- and enjoy S’mores around the fire.
Every participant will choose a pre-made luminary, created by our Resident Artists and volunteers, to go through the Raku process! You will be able to see the transformation from bisque ware to a beautifully fired work in one evening, right before your eyes. Participants will be able to take home their projects that night.

Tickets – $45/person
Ticket cost includes a pre-made luminary project for Raku, food and 1 drink ticket.

We are excited to have Lynne Hart & Pat Smith performing for us from 4-7PM! They are two members from the ‘Roots of Rhythm Trio’ that have been playing jazz since 2008.
