Being a Friend of the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio is a wonderful way to support, and be a part of our creative community!
2024 Friend of the Center
Become a Friend of the center by clicking the button below for 2024.
$65 - Individual
Receive a 10% discount on 2024 classes and workshops. This option is available beginning June 10th for July-December classes.
$80 - Individual
Receive a 10% discount on 2024 classes and workshops.
$140 - Family
Receive a 10% discount on 2024 classes, family workshops and summer camps for up to 4 members of the immediate household.
To register for the Independent Studies Program (ISP), you must be a current 2024 Friend of the Center. To register for Open Studio you must be a current 2024 Friend of the Center.
Please note that ISP requirements include: Open Studio members must have taken 2-4 classes at the Center and received prior authorization from the Assistant Director.
*Your discount must be used at the time of registration, you will receive a discount code via email. NOTE that discounts have no cash value and will not be reimbursed if you do not enter the code during registration.
Being a Friend of the Center is non-refundable or transferable.
Friends of the Center Benefits
- Friends receive a 10% discount on 2024 Classes and Workshops.
- Friends will receive an exclusive 2024 ICCGS Sketchbook, while supplies last. Available in the office.
- Friends are invited to participate in special programming including quarterly ‘Creative Coffee’ Saturday and the new ‘2024 Friends of the Center Reading Group: The Friday Fluxadelics’,
- Friends will receive information about our upcoming Artist Receptions and Events and be added to the Newsletter.
- Friends and Students are invited to three potluck events over 2024 on September 15th, and December 15th. All potluck events are from 4-6 pm.
- 2024 Friend of the Center runs from January through December 2024.
Creative Coffee
Friends are invited to participate in special programming including quarterly “Creative Coffee” Saturday.
These Saturday mornings are a time for Friends of the Center to bring a piece you recently made and share with the group. We will have a creative conversation over coffee with our community, all events are from 9-10am.

Friday Fluxadelic
Friends are invited to participate in special programming including the new “2024 Friends of the Center Reading Group: The Friday Fluxadelics.” This group meets on Friday’s at 1pm – 3pm on the following dates:
