Workshops
Wheel Try It
Our most popular workshop will teach you the basics. Great for kids (ages 9+) and adults who are interested in working with clay. Each participant will complete 1-2 cups or bowls. This class is all about the experience and learning how to work with the pottery wheel. All skill levels welcome.
Saturday Glass
Wide variety of projects throughout the year. Glass workshops are intended all ages. However, kids ages 8 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.

A wide variety of projects throughout the year. Clay workshops are intended for all ages. However, kids ages 8 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Friday Nights Out: Clay and Glass
Our popular monthly series for six years running–for ages 21 and over. Come in after a long work week and be creative. A variety of wheel, clay projects and glass projects are featured throughout the year. Participants may BYOB. All skill levels welcome.
Visiting Artists
Throughout the year we invite artists to come to the center to teach a workshop. These Workshops will feature a technique they use in their work.
Classes
Beginning Wheel 1.0
Introduction to working with clay on the pottery wheel. Each student will have their own wheel to work with. You will learn various throwing techniques and explore the cup and cylinder. Ages 18+. This class is for individuals with little to no experience.
Beginning Wheel 2.0
The next step in Beginning Wheel. This class will provide an introduction to basic trimming technique and exploration of creating a bowl shape on the wheel. Ages 18+. For the most success in this class, students should have taken Beginning Wheel 1.0.
Beginning Glass
This is a class for beginners. Demonstrations will focus on building warm glass skills. Ages 18+. This class is for individuals with little to no experience.
Advanced Glass
This is a class for prior glass students only, prior approval from the instructor is mandatory. Demonstrations will be class directed. Basic warm glass skills required.
Handbuilding, Pinch, Coil & Slab
In this hand building class, students will be introduced to clay techniques to create projects. Students are encouraged to utilize our open studio time to continue to explore each technique.Ages 18+. This class is for individuals of all skill levels.
Special Topics
These classes vary by topic and skill level. These are offered several months out of the year.
Independent Studies Program
This program is intended for individuals with experience in our studio.
