Wheel Try It Sessions: Extended Wheel Class

This is a one-time class.  For this session we will assist you in learning how to center the clay on the wheel and how to create cups and bowls, with more in-depth demonstrations.  This class is more about the process of working with the wheel than a specific project, this is great class for kids and parents who are interested in developing a set of skills for working with clay.  Each participant will complete at least 1-2 cups or bowls.  All materials, tools and instruction from our knowledgeable staff are included.  Minimum age is 9 years old.  All skill levels are welcome

Group and personal instruction both take place in these workshops. This is a great way for kids and parents alike who are interested in developing a higher set of skills when working with clay –without the commitment of an eight week class.

Clay, tool, firing, and instruction from our knowledgeable staff are included. We’ll introduce you to the potter’s wheel and help you create a piece that we will then fire and glaze for you to take home. Projects will be available for pickup 2-3 weeks later.  Cost is $35 per person and class is from 10:30 am – 1:00pm

Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can get settled. Six sign-ups are necessary for the program to run, so get everyone together and make a day of it. If your session will not run for any reason, we will call you by 1 pm the day before the class. Prepayment is required. No refunds are permitted 24 hours in advance. Minimum age is 9 years old.  Close toed shoes are required in the studio.  Kids under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

PLEASE NOTE the name of the class, the date, and the time for your records.  72 hours notice is required prior to the workshop in order to receive a full refund.
