Breast Cancer Awareness Coffee Mug Party

Friday Night Out! Our popular monthly series for six years running! Come in after a long work week and be creative. BYOB, appetizers provided. This workshop is for ages 21 and over only.
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we have partnered with Gems of Hope for this special Friday Night Out. .
‘Breast Cancer Awareness Friday Night Out Cup Party!’
Date: Friday, October 2nd, 2020
Time: 6:00pm-7:15pm or 7:30pm-8:45pm
Cost: $35 (½ the cost of tickets will benefit Gems of Hope)
Come in and support Gems of Hope during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will provide attendees with a handmade mug–and you will learn how to attach a handle, as well as decorate the outside and glaze (paint) it. Make it all pink, add a pink ribbon, or dedicate it to a special woman in your life. In the end you will have a personalized mug honoring Breast Cancer Awareness.
Please select from the two timeslots available upon registration. Space is limited for COVID-19 precautions. Tables will be set up to be socially distant, and masks are required.
Friday Nights Out at ICCGS! 21 years and older. Join us in the studio for a fun project. BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage). We'll teach you about clay or glass - and you'll have a lot of fun! No experience is necessary. In each workshop you will create a piece of art that is yours to keep, then pick up your works 3 weeks later.
Cancellation policy: ICCGS reserves the right to cancel sessions due to the minimum enrollment not being met. In that event, participants will be notified and credit for a future class/workshop credit will be given in the form of a certificate. Participants may cancel their session for future class credits 72 hours/ 3 days before the class/workshop begins. You may email us at info@iowaCeramicsCenter.org about your cancellation.
All classes and workshops are held at: Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio, located in the NewBo district in the Cherry Building at 329 10th Avenue Southeast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The center is located on the first floor in Suite 117
