Learn about several different eras of pottery and what significant pottery creations came from them. In this series of two hour workshops, you will re-create a project using the kit provided (the kit included in the cost of the class, must be picked up on Friday or Saturday between 10-4pm before the workshop. Curbside pickup is also available by calling 319-365-9644 upon arrival.) NOTE that email you use for registration will be the one we send you the ZOOM link and password. Projects can then be dropped off at the center at the same times for firing and available for pickup 2 week later.
Workshop Project: Coil Basket from Japanese Jomon Period

- Firing cost for one project, includes clear glazing by the center. Projects may be dropped off at the center on Friday or Saturday between 10am-4pm.
STUDENT INFORMATION
Students must pick up their kit prior to class time. This interactive online class is hosted via Zoom. Before your first class, please download Zoom (www.zoom.us), and register your email address. You will be emailed Zoom meeting instructions at least 1 day before the start of the class. This email will include a unique URL and your meeting code. Classes that do not meet enrollment minimums will be canceled two days prior to the class start date.
