Friday Night Out—for ages 21 and over, BYOB
Our popular monthly series for seven years running! Gather your friends and/or partner and join us for a fun Friday Night Out–come in after a long work week and be creative.
Goddess Slab Vase
Grab your mom, sisters and friends for our workshop honoring Women’s History Month—and bring out your inner goddess with clay. You will create a unique goddess vase using a female form for inspiration. We will teach you techniques to work with slabs of clay to create your one-of-a-kind vase. Then you will decorate the outside, add texture and color however you like. Projects will be ready for pickup 3 weeks later. Put it somewhere to remind yourself to celebrate the goddess within you—every day of the year!

Time: 6:30 PM–8:30 PM
Cost: $40/person
Friday Nights Out at ICCGS! 21 years and older. Join us in the studio for a fun project. BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage). We'll teach you about clay or glass - and you'll have a lot of fun! No experience is necessary. In each workshop you will create a piece of art that is yours to keep, then pick up your works 3 weeks later.
Cancellation policy: ICCGS reserves the right to cancel sessions due to the minimum enrollment not being met. In that event, participants will be notified and credit for a future class/workshop credit will be given in the form of a certificate. Participants may cancel their session for future class credits 72 hours/ 3 days before the class/workshop begins. You may email us at [email protected] about your cancellation.
All classes and workshops are held at: Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio, located in the NewBo district in the Cherry Building at 329 10th Avenue Southeast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The center is located on the first floor in Suite 117
