ART AT BRUCEMORE–Friday Night out-Clay Fluted Vase
It’s time to get creative!
Join us for a Friday Night Out with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio at Brucemore. This workshop is for guests 21+ and participants are welcome to BYOB.
During this workshop, participants will sculpt a beautiful, fluted vase using various hand-building techniques and tools to create texture and movement in their creation. This project is perfect to personalize your potted plants!
This workshop is hosted in the Brucemore Carriage House. All instructions and materials are provided during the workshop. Following the workshop, the instructor will take the projects to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio, add a white glaze to the projects, and fire them in their kiln. Projects will be available for pick-up at the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio three weeks after the class date.
Please register by June 25 at 5:00 PM to reserve your spot.
What to do when you arrive:
- Please enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403
- Once onsite, please follow signs towards the Carriage House, where there is on-site parking.
- Please check-in with Brucemore staff in the Carriage House
Tips for your visit:
- Please consider leaving bags or other larger personal items in your vehicle. A coat rack is available, but it is not monitored during the workshop.
- All ticket sales are non-refundable. Please read our ticket policy here.
- This workshop is for guests 21 years of age and older. Guests are welcome to BYOB (bring your own beverage). No refreshments will be provided during the workshop.
