Our Summer Camps return better than ever for 2025. We are celebrating our 15th year of Summer Camps! Our Art Education Camps provide your kids with new skills to develop their creativity this summer. Get your campers ready for a week of pure clay-fueled creativity! Our 5-Day Clay Studio Explosion is where kids ages 8-15 dive headfirst into the wild and wonderful world of pottery. We’re talking five days of hands-on, get-your-hands-dirty, clay-slinging fun! We’re kicking things off with the foundational skills of coiling, pinching, and slab-building where they will learn the ancient arts of coiling, pinching, and slab-building (Monday-Wednesday), transforming lumps of clay into amazing creations based on our theme of the week. Then, hold on tight, because Thursday and Friday are all about the THRILL of the potter’s wheel!
Guided by an experienced instructor, in a working pottery studio, each camper will receive group and personalized instruction. Campers will then transform their creations into colorful masterpieces by painting them with special ceramic glazes. After drying on our shelves, their projects will be fired in our kilns for a professional finish. Parents and campers can pick up their finished pieces four week after camp ends.

Pottery Studio Rockstar! 5 Days of Clay-tastic Fun! (Ages 8-15)
Prepare for the most gloriously messy, ridiculously fun 2-day clay adventure! Kids 8-15, get ready to spin, shape, and transform clay into amazing creations. Over the course of two action-packed days, campers will learn the ins and outs of wheel throwing and glazing from our experienced Instructor. They’ll have the chance to try their hand at creating cups, bowls, and other pottery items. But that’s not all – campers will also have the chance to add their own personal touch by painting their creations with vibrant glazes. The end result? A masterpiece that is entirely unique and truly one-of-a-kind.
At the end of each day, one lucky project will be chosen for firing in our kilns. Campers can come back 1 month later to pick up their fired masterpieces – a memento that can be treasured forever. Our amazing instructor will transport your child into a world of imagination as they read an enchanting storybook filled with colorful characters and exciting adventures. They will dive into enchanting storybooks filled with whimsical underwater worlds, giggling gnomes, daring dragons and magical creatures. But the real magic happens when we transform those stories into REAL clay creations. We’ll squish, sculpt, and paint our way to amazing masterpieces, using special glazes that make their art POP!

Summer Youth Art Camps at ICCGS–for ages 8-15! At ICCGS, we have provided art education for 13 years through our Summer Camp Programs.
In each 2-hour Summer Camp Workshop, campers will create a project using a variety of hand building skills–with help from our Summer Camp Instructor. The campers will then glaze (aka paint) their works to be fired in our kilns. Projects will be available for pickup 4 weeks after their workshop. These camps are a great option for siblings who want to take a class together!
