Friday Night Out—Glass Garden Totem 

Come in after a long week and be creative! Gather your friends and/or partner and join us for a fun Friday Night Out—for 21 and over only.  Participants may BYOB. 

In this Friday Night Out you will be creating a colorful 4”x12” garden totem to decorate your garden or flower pot this summer.   We will teach you some warm glass techniques including: how to safely cut glass and how to layer glass to create your desired design. All participants must wear closed toed shoes and clothing that covers your legs for glass safety, protective eyewear is provided.  All projects will be fired in our kilns and available for pickup 3 weeks later.

Time: 6:30 – 8:00pm

Friday Nights Out at ICCGS!  21 years and older.  Join us in the studio for a fun project. BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage).  We'll teach you about clay or glass - and you'll have a lot of fun!  No experience is necessary.  In each workshop you will create a piece of art that is yours to keep, then pick up your works 3 weeks later.

Cancellation policy: ICCGS reserves the right to cancel sessions due to the minimum enrollment not being met.  In that event, participants will be notified and credit for a future class/workshop credit will be given in the form of a certificate.  Participants may cancel their session for future class credits 72 hours/ 3 days before the class/workshop begins.  You may email us at [email protected] about your cancellation. 

All classes and workshops are held at: Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio, located in the NewBo district in the Cherry Building at 329 10th Avenue Southeast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  The center is located on the first floor in Suite 117
