Prerequisites: Basic glass cutting skills. The pattern shift technique allows you to create unique and complex designs in kilnformed glass. In this workshop, using a selection from a variety of patterned glass, you will use your cutting skills to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Ages 16+.
Prerequisites: No glass experience required. The technique allows the artist to control color placement, shading and degree of translucency unique to this casting process.
In this workshop, you will create a bowl using the glass paste. Ages 16 and over.
Prerequisites: You must have taken the basic Pâte de Verre class before taking this one. You will be able to carve shallow relief designs into the clay or add thin clay designs to the surface. You will make a plaster silica mold of your clay piece. Ages 16+
Monday evenings 4 week class. In our introduction to hand building class will include the basics of pinch pot, coiling and slab building techniques.
Tuesday evenings 8 week class (age 14+) Take your pots to the next level! Get your pots lighter, bigger and more refined.
Wednesday morning 8 week class. This is a class for any level. During the first six weeks we will concentrate on the basics of glass fusing (cutting and firing temperatures) and different techniques of decorating glass while creating small projects.
4 week Wednesday evening class. In our introduction to hand building class will include the basics of pinch pot, coiling and slab building techniques.
This class is an introduction to working with clay on the pottery wheel. Each student will have their own wheel to work with.
Monday evenings 8 week class. You will learn basic throwing techniques and explore the cup and cylinder. This class is for individuals with little to no experience. (Ages 14+)

Thursday evening 8 week class. In this class we will be going over and testing various glazing and finishing techniques. This class is intended for student’s previous clay experience.
Wednesday evenings 8 week class. Students will explore organic building techniques and strategies to create sculptures.
